The Bedouk MC&IT 2009 Trade Show Report
A RECORD ATTENDANCE FOR THE 10TH BIRTHDAY OF THE FRENCH MEETING INDUSTRY’S ANNUAL EVENT
With an attendance rate increasing by 16% compared to 2008, the Bedouk Exhibition MC&IT has confirmed its position as the leading event in the industry of Business Tourism and Event Management, turning out to be the point of convergence for decision-makers and event organisers. To help them create and make their projects real, about 600 exhibitors providing the best offers in terms of conferences, incentive programmes, congresses and event management gathered in the Pavilion 4 of Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles.
“The success of Bedouk Exhibition MC&IT’s 10th edition is the most visible evidence of our industry’s vitality, welcomes Benoît Rosenthal, the Commissioner General of the Trade Show. The current economic context has not discouraged professional event organisers at all: on the contrary, it has led them to show creativity and to bring new solutions and original contents.”
The Meeting Lab, the trade show’s conferences, debates and workshops programme, was also a real success, providing a detailed overview of the market’s current state, of its major trends and its main evolutions including sustainable development, travel agency licences, well-being and female leadership. Dedicated studies such as ANAé/Bedouk and Coach Omnium also helped understand how the industry is evolving.
