With more than 500 exhibitors, among which 100 participated for the first time, and 7,500 high quality visits Bedouk Exhibition 2012 kept all promises made and confirmed the meeting industry’s professionals’ interest in this essential rendez‐vous.
Showcasing savoir‐faire and good practice, Bedouk Exhibition was once again this year, the stage of several professional encounters. Corporate and agency meeting planners, Respectively representing 55% and 32% of the show’s visitors, paced up and down the exhibition’s aisles in order to find new ideas, discover what trends will unveil in a near future and meet in person with their contractors and suppliers.
The Meeting Lab encountered a vast success thanks to a wide range of topics throughout conferences, round‐table conferences and workshops. The Results of the Bedouk / Coach Omnium benchmark study, which was very anticipated by professionals from the MICE industry, has underlined the first steps of an upturn in the Business Tourism industry still reeling from the affects of the crisis.
Bedouk Exhibition is going green
Involved for several years in an eco‐friendly engagement Bedouk Exhibition has chosen this year to use the EASY²‘s reusable carpet tiles instead of the usual carpet used in exhibition. Carbon footprint: this saved 67% of carbon dioxide which represent 9.2 tons the equivalent of a car’s carbon dioxide emissions on 48,600 km… more than one trip around the globe, 50 Paris‐Monaco trips or 1,300 laps on the Paris ring road! Along with the exhibitors’ involvement more than 1.4 tons of wastes were avoided.
